Mission First, People Always | Creating a Positive Culture

The culture of a workplace shows up in everyday moments: what people feel safe saying, how concerns are handled, and what leaders allow to continue. When a team grows quiet, gossip takes hold, or people seem worn down, it may be time to look more closely.

In this session, Mark Martin, LCSW, will help leaders take an honest look at their team’s culture and their own role in shaping it. You’ll leave with practical ways to build trust and support your people while keeping your mission in focus.

You’ll leave with:

  • Warning signs that your team’s culture needs attention
  • Five practices leaders can use consistently to build a healthier culture
  • Five questions to help you assess your own team
  • One specific step you’ll take this week to build trust

About the speaker: Mark Martin, LCSW, is Clinic Director at the Counseling & Education Center in Grand Junction. A U.S. Army veteran and clinical social worker, he brings experience leading teams under pressure and supporting people through mental health challenges. His approach focuses on practical tools leaders can use in their own workplaces.
