Description
Good Afternoon,
The Downtown Cat Company & Cat Café and Loma Cat House are teaming up to kick off a summer full of community events with “Are You Kitten Me Right Meow?” on Friday, May 23rd from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in downtown Grand Junction.
The event will serve as the official kickoff to the Four-Legged Farmers Market series, which will continue on the fourth Saturday of every month throughout the summer with rotating themes, vendors, and community fundraising opportunities. Guests can expect: • Local vendor booths • Food trucks • Live music • Cat adoptions • Fundraising activities benefiting spay and neuter efforts for local cats • A first look at the Downtown Cat Café’s new menu offerings
The event is proudly sponsored by Coca-Cola, and organizers are expecting a strong community turnout following the success of previous Downtown Cat events and adoption programs. Funds raised during the event will directly support spay and neuter efforts through Loma Cat House, helping reduce overpopulation and support long-term feline welfare throughout the community. “This isn’t just about cats. It’s about creating a place where the community can come together, support local businesses, enjoy good food and music, and help make a real difference for animals in need,” said organizers with The Downtown Cat Company & Cat Café.
The Downtown Cat Company & Cat Café has already helped facilitate dozens of cat adoptions in the community and continues expanding its mission through partnerships, events, and educational outreach. Media outlets are welcome to attend, film, interview vendors or organizers, and cover the event throughout the day.
