Join us in Grand Junction for a full day of events focused on funding education, founder-to-funder connections, and technical assistance. This event, in partnership with Grand Junction Economic Partnership, Grand Junction Business Incubator, Outgrow Your Garage, and Small Business Majority, offers valuable funding insights, education, and opportunities to connect.

What to Expect:

  • Learn practical strategies for funding your business.
  • Introduction to My Funding Canvas model.
  • Hear from funders about available resources and success stories.

 

Morning Agenda Monday (5/5): 8:30-10:30am

    • In this hands-on workshop, you will learn a step-by-step practice to build a winning funding plan specific to your business.

 

Afternoon Agenda Monday (5/5): 1:30-4pm

Location: CMU Innovation Center, 730 Mesa Ave.

  • 1:30-2:30: Listening Session led by Hunter Nelson of Small Business Majority
    • Join Small Business Majority's Colorado Director Hunter Nelson for a listening session aimed at hearing from Colorado's rural entrepreneurs about what unique challenges you face in starting and growing your businesses, and how policy solutions can better support you and your business. 
  • 3:00-4:00: Funding Education: Capital Opportunities for Small Businesses led by Sandra Lopez of B:Side
    • Presented by B:Side, this session will explore a variety of funding options available to help small businesses grow. Learn about the Colorado CLIMBER Loan Fund, the Colorado Startup Loan Fund (CSLF), SBA loans, and other resources designed to support your business at every stage.
