The Museums of Western Colorado are excited to announce our first annual Oktoberfest at Cross Orchards Historic Site, happening Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 2025 in Grand Junction. Friday, October 10 – Fundraising Dinner & Dance Party The weekend kicks off with a catered Oktoberfest-style dinner prepared by Cowboy & The Rose, complete with a German-inspired charcuterie station, entrées, and desserts. Guests will enjoy: ● 5:00 – 6:00 PM – Cocktail Hour, Silent Auction & Beer Garden ● 6:00 – 6:45 PM – Dinner & Dessert ● 7:00 – 7:45 PM – Program, Live Auction & Paddle Raise ● 8:00 – 9:45 PM – Dance Party featuring Katie & The Players, a funky soul band bringing powerhouse vocals and vibrant energy Tickets for the Fundraising Dinner & Dance Party are $150 per person. General Admission tickets for the Dance Party (8 PM entry) are $29 per person. Proceeds from Friday evening benefit the Museums of Western Colorado. Saturday, October 11 – Family Festival Day From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, families can enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, and fall festivities across the historic grounds of Cross Orchards. Highlights include: ● Live Music Performances by local artists including Rodney Hayden ● Costume Contest & Pretzel Toss ● Pumpkin Patch & Hay Maze ● Historic Demonstrations: blacksmithing, woodworking, cider pressing, cookies in the bunkhouse ● Free rides on the Ride-On-Train ● Food trucks ● Vendor booths including the Bookcliff Home Brewers Association ● 1:00 PM – National Steinholding Competition, Colorado State Championship Tickets for Saturday’s festival are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and veterans, $8 for children under 16, and free for children ages 2 and under.
