Celebrating 80 Years of Cancer Care The community is invited to celebrate a major milestone in cancer care for our community, the expansion of the Cancer Centers of Colorado at Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. For nearly 80 years, St. Mary’s has been a cornerstone of compassionate, expert cancer care in western Colorado and eastern Utah. This expansion increases our medical oncology and infusion capacity, allowing us to serve more patients with the high-quality, compassionate care they deserve—right here in Grand Junction. Cancer Center Open House and Cancer Prevention Health Fair 📅 Saturday, September 13 🕔9:00 a.m. to Noon 📍 Entrance 25, St. Mary’s Cancer Centers of Colorado (750 Wellington Ave., Grand Junction, CO 81501) Tour the newly expanded cancer center, meet our providers and explore the latest in comprehensive cancer services. The free Cancer Prevention Health Fair will feature interactive booths and educational stations focused on cancer prevention and wellness, including: • Sign-up for mammograms and other cancer screenings • Free blood pressure checks • Skin cancer prevention education with UV cameras • Nutrition and stress relief stations • Exercise demos • Learn more about our Nurse Navigators, Chaplain Services, Clinical Trials, Cancer Support Groups and new survivorship program funding and supported by generous donations to the St. Mary’s Foundation. Don’t miss the chance to walk through the Inflatable Colon exhibit, a fun and informative way to learn about colorectal health.
