• System Setup: Assemble and mount furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Ductwork Fabrication: Measure, cut, and install sheet metal or flexible duct systems for proper airflow.
• Electrical and Gas Connections: Wire low- and line-voltage components, and safely connect gas lines and copper refrigerant lines (brazing/soldering).
• System Testing: Inspect installations to verify they meet local building codes, EPA regulations, and safety standards.
• Customer Handover: Educate clients on how to operate their new thermostats and maintain their systems. 

• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and airflow dynamics.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment (50-75+ lbs), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces like attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and translate technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
• Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification is typically required for handling refrigerants.
